What is Density Calculator ?

The Density Calculator uses the formula p=m/V, p = density, m = mass, V = volume. Density (p) is equal to mass (m) divided by volume (V). The Density calculator can use any two of the values to calculate the third. Density is defined as mass per unit volume.

Density Formula

The Density formula is d = M/V, where d is density, M is mass, and V is volume. Density is commonly expressed in units of grams per cubic centimetre.formula p=m/V, p = density, m = mass, V = volume.

Volume Formulas

Cube = a 3

Rectangular prism = a b c

Irregular prism = b

Cylinder = b h = pi r 2

Pyramid = (1/3) b

Cone = (1/3) b h = 1/3 pi r 2

Sphere = (4/3) pi r 3

Ellipsoid = (4/3) pi r1 r2 r3

Mass Formula

The mass of an object can be calculated in a number of different ways: mass=density × volume (m=ρV). Density is a measure of mass per unit of volume, so the mass of an object can be determined by multiplying density by volume. mass=force÷acceleration (m=F/a).

According to the Newton’s second law of motion which states that if F is equal to force, M is equal to mass and A is equal to acceleration. Then, F =MA . Therefore, M = F/A Or Mass = Force / Acceleration
